2nd August, 2019 – The first class for Space and Materiality, mentored by Ms. Meenal Sutaria began with a quick introduction on the subject after which a tour of the work laboratory was given to us where we were shown different tools and equipments that we would be required to use in our future projects and assignments.
The class was then given details about the first assignment, which was the making of a material board, comprising of different types of materials having different properties and origins. This seems like a very interesting and fun project to work on because we would have to actually go around, exploring different types of materials exhibiting different properties and combining them into one board. The class was then asked to collect all the different materials and get them for the next class for assessment.
