13th August, 2019 – The class was given a detailed introduction to Gestalt’s principles of design which showed us how different patterns are used to show the perception of a different objects, when arranged in a particular order. The principles of Gestalt’s principles comprised of Proximity, Good Figure, Similarity, Continuation, Closure and Symmetry.
Our next assignment was based on the Gestalt’s principles, where we had to compose posters in our classes using the various principles of Gestalt’s theory. The class started working on the first poster in the class itself and was asked to complete the poster and bring it to the next class, after which a new poster would be worked on in class.
