16th August, 2019 – The students made their way to the class with their material boards. Each material board had a different layout, very unique to each one of us. My material board was minimalistic and simple. I had also made a detailed description about each material along with a tabular representation of each material, its properties and its origin. Ms. Sutaria reviewed each one of our material boards along with our coasters that we had completed in the previous week. The coasters were equally unique, and some had the most interesting designs. My coasters had a mosaic design on them with zig zag cut outs.
During the second half, ma’am asked us to note down a list of hand grips that we tend to use in daily life. Each grip had to be different, no repetition. We were then asked to photograph each of the five grips that ma’am had picked for us, in further four to five different angles and to sketch them down in our art books. This was to be continued in the next class.
