26th August, 2019 – The fifth week is the grading week, where all work composed during the first five weeks is graded and reviewed. Every student’s work was graded during the first lecture and reviewed.
Ms. Mallick gave us an introduction to different types of shading, such as stippling, cross hatching and regular shading using different intensity drawing pencils. She showed us a book with flowers and leaves, given details using different forms of shading, after which we proceeded with our class assignment, which was to draw leaves and flowers and give them depth, shade and light using the taught methods.
