20th January, 2020 – Ms. Malvika Mahidhar – in today’s class, we discussed the Fertile Crescent keeping a focus on Sumer and Akkad.
The fertile crescent is a strip of fertile land in a crescent shape along river beds in the Middle East. We then discussed about Mesopotamia which is located between rivers Tigris and Euphrates.
Sumer means “The land of civilised Kings”
