30th January, 2020 – Ms. Prarthana Patil – In today’s class, we talked about the plan we had discussed in the seminar class about the book we were supposed to write and spoke about the elements we wanted to include in the book.
After this, we showed our 15 thumbnails that we had made for the 5 cities that we were asked to make. Our assignment was to make 3 imaginary drawing for any 5 cities described in the book invisible cities by Italo Calvino and bring them to class to see how we work with our imagination.
After a quick round, ma’am called us one by one and assessed our drawing and gave her inputs on what could have been improved, etc.
After this, she told us about our next assignment, which was to make three 10 by 10 visuals for our imagined cities, something which is put together using all the elements we put in out 15 sketches. We began brainstorming on how to go about it.
