23rd Match, 2020 – Ms. Malvika Mahidhar – in today’s class we discussed the Chola empire and its objects with close reference to iconography. We noticed the symbolism in every statue, that makes them stand out and identify them for what they are. We learned how to closely look at objects and identify design details in them which helped us get to our write ups for our museum visit objects, a part of our ongoing project.
